The "Infernaccio" is a major Tarquinian necropolis of the Orientalising period (7th century BC), still unknown and located on an ancient route that from the city (the "Civita") was leading to the sea through the "Monterozzi" necropolis.
Among the tombs discovered in the area, stands the "Luzi" tomb, a building of about the half of the 7th century BC. The mound, like those of nearby "Doganaccia", stands at the edge of the "Monterozzi" hill, touched by a burial road that had to link the sepulchral centres located on the height.
